To Days Deal is an online marketplace offering a diverse product range, relying heavily on paid traffic for growth. However, limited tracking accuracy made it difficult to understand campaign ROI and optimize ad spend effectively.

Project Overview

The brand ran ads across platforms, but purchases and revenue values weren’t consistently tracked across GA4 and Google Ads. Missing parameters, incorrect tagging, and lack of enhanced eCommerce schema made attribution inaccurate.

The solution was to redesign tracking using a full-funnel enhanced eCommerce strategy, connecting all funnel actions and passing validated purchase values to Google Ads for precise attribution.

Project Goal

Implement a complete measurement system that tracks product views, cart actions, checkout steps, and purchases—then sends verified revenue data to Google Ads to enable ROAS-focused optimization.

Challenges
  • Purchase events lacked value and transaction ID mapping.
  • No enhanced eCommerce schema → funnel visibility was incomplete.
  • Attribution relied on clicks instead of verified revenue.
  • Limited remarketing segmentation and data-driven decision-making.
Strategy

Build a structured tracking layer using GA4 enhanced eCommerce + GTM triggers and map conversion data into Google Ads. The system captures both product interactions and final purchase values for accurate, scalable bidding.

Implementation
  • Configured GA4 enhanced eCommerce events: View Item → Add to Cart → Begin Checkout → Purchase.
  • Created a clean Data Layer to pass product arrays, currency, transaction_id, and revenue values.
  • Deployed GTM tags for UI actions, scroll depth, clicks, and checkout triggers.
  • Synced GA4 purchase values with Google Ads conversion tracking.
  • Verified end-to-end signals through Tag Assistant, DebugView, and order-level logs.
